Happy Thanksgiving!
We will be feasting with friends this afternoon. They are our family away from home. We feel so blessed to have our hearts full to the brim of gratitude. Jared will be leaving this evening for the weekend. Our church has asked for volunteers to go up to New York to administer aid to Sandy victims. He will be working in humbling circumstances. We are grateful especially today that we were spared from that disaster just a few short weeks ago and are saying a special prayer for those who do not have much during this season. Let the days be merry and bright from now til Christmas!
Happy Thanksgiving! Hope you have a lovely day:)
ReplyDeletehappy thanksgiving! love the quote! Soo true! have a great thanksgiving weekend!
ReplyDeleteKendra, I was thinking of you during this time because I know you don't have family out there and I'm just glad that you have some good friends to be with during this blessed time. Thank you for thinking of me in your last post. I am so grateful for the blog friends I have made. I have said it before, I really enjoy your blog, perhaps because it's not only simple but you are able to capture your passion through simplicity, something I am trying to work on. I don't think my blog will ever be simple, and that's okay because I have you to go to for that.... :) You're a doll. I admire you as a young mother. I had a harder time, you seem like a natural at it. I feel good in my shoes now, but back then I wish I were more like you and so I love your blog for that reason too. You are an inspiration of goodness and trying hard for your family and just being you. You seem very comfortable with "you" and I appreciate that about you.
ReplyDeleteKendra, Happy Thanksgiving. Truly, you have a great thing going here. Take great care,
Shauna xoxo
