Tornado warnings and torrential rain storms were our companions this past Friday. The weather over here was caa-Razy. The skies were relentless with their blackened downpours and claps of thunder. We were without power for 2 hours, but luckily it came back on right in time for me to pop a margherita pizza in the oven and homemade breadsticks. While I was making the dough, Ev and Jared went for a little walk during a calming period of rain. As the dough was rising, I went to go find them and I found this happy gal singing stomping in the rain.
Maybe its just my lack of sleep last night, but nap during a 2 hour blackout with the sound of rain pouring down sounds so relaxing right now. Send your summer rain to California!
ReplyDeleteI think it worked, I live in northern California and the forecast today is rain :) Crazy since it has been so hot these last few days. Your baby girl is so cute! Great video!

Yum pizza sound so good and that little angel stomping in the rain is so precious. You say tornado warning so nonchalantly. Being a California that would make me pee my pants if we got a warning like that lol!

How cute is she!!! I was actually scared on Friday, we were watching the news and the guy said "fairfax county take cover" so I turned off the oven (I was baking salmon) and grabbed Judah and we all went to the basement to wait out the warnings. But it was just a bunch of rain :-)
