Some days are really tough being a mom to these two. Ok, really just to one of these two. The two-year old, to be exact. But then I look at a picture like this - Warner's chubby fingers resting on his sister's knee, Evelyn's secure embrace around her baby brother's chest, Warner's right foot happily kicking midair, both smiles so sincere (well, maybe Evelyn's a bit on the cheesy side), and eyes that are so intent. Evelyn's skinned knee and chipped toenail polish, curly little locks flipping every which way, pretty much sum up this frazzled state we are currently in. And Warner's meekness and his adoration for his sister, despite her best efforts lately to pester him, is evident in this moment. It is simply beautiful in my mind.
I hope these two grow up to be the best of the best friends and give each other eternal memories. That is one of my greatest prayers.
this is absolute perfection!

It really is a gorgeous photo. And they are far harder to get when you have two teeny people to get looking at the camera and smiling AT THE SAME TIME. Definitely one for a frame. x
